01 Getting Started

General Questions

How the intake process works and where to start.

What services does DesignAlot offer?

DesignAlot currently focuses on Website Design, Computer Repair, Graphic Design and Remote Desktop Assistance. Express Design is a separate quick-turn path for smaller artwork, image and focused design jobs.

How do I start a project or repair request?

Choose the service that best matches the job and use the Project Intake form. Service-page buttons automatically preselect the appropriate service so you can go straight to the details. If you are not sure which service fits, choose Not sure yet.

What information should I include in my request?

The most useful details are what you need created, repaired or changed; any deadline that matters; what is already in place; and what a successful result looks like to you. For design work, include dimensions, existing brand material or source artwork when you have it.

Will I work directly with DesignAlot?

Yes. The intake system sends your request directly to DesignAlot and the follow-up stays direct. There is no support-ticket maze between your request and the person reviewing the work.

What happens after I submit the project form?

The system sends your request and emails you a confirmation with a Request ID. The details are reviewed, any needed questions are identified, and you are contacted directly about the next step.

How is the information I submit handled?

Project information is used to respond to your inquiry and perform the requested work. The forms include automated abuse protection and a private diagnostic audit trail, but the project message itself is not stored in that diagnostic log. See the Privacy Policy for the full explanation.

02 Web

Website Design

New sites, redesigns, structure, forms and launch planning.

Can you build a completely new website?

Yes. Website Design includes custom responsive builds planned around the site's goals, audience, content and required features rather than forcing the project into a recycled theme.

Can you redesign an existing website instead of starting over?

Yes. An older site can be modernized while preserving useful content, URLs and existing business value where it makes sense. The goal is to improve the site without discarding things that are still working.

Will the website work on phones and tablets?

Responsive behavior is part of the build. Page structure, navigation and visual design are developed for desktop, tablet and mobile rather than treating the mobile version as an afterthought.

Can you help organize my content and pages?

Yes. Content and layout planning are part of Website Design. The information can be organized so visitors can understand what you do, find important material and reach the intended next step without unnecessary confusion.

Can you build forms or project-intake systems?

Yes. Practical inquiry and intake forms can be built into a site so the right information reaches you in a useful format. DesignAlot's own project and Express Design forms are examples of that type of workflow.

Can you help with domains, hosting and putting the site live?

Yes. Launch support can include domain, hosting and deployment guidance when the finished site is ready to replace the old build.

03 Repair

Computer Repair

Diagnostics, upgrades, Windows problems and data transfer.

What kinds of computer problems can you diagnose?

Computer Repair covers slow performance, startup problems, crashes, Windows issues, software problems and hardware faults that can be isolated to a serviceable component.

Can you upgrade my computer instead of replacing it?

When an upgrade makes sense, yes. SSD and memory upgrades can improve responsiveness and extend the useful life of a system without automatically replacing the whole computer.

Do you install SSDs and memory?

Yes. SSD and memory upgrades are specifically part of the Computer Repair service, along with verification that the system is operating properly after the agreed work is completed.

Can you clean up or refresh Windows?

Yes. Windows cleanup and refresh work can address software clutter, damaged installations and performance problems when the issue is software-related rather than a failed physical component.

Can you move my files to another computer?

Yes. Data transfer and setup can include moving files and helping configure a replacement or upgraded computer.

How do I know whether I need Computer Repair or Remote Assistance?

If the computer can still get online and the problem is mainly software, settings or guidance, Remote Desktop Assistance may be faster. Hardware failures, physical upgrades and computers that cannot get online usually need Computer Repair instead.

04 Creative

Graphic Design

Branding, print, digital graphics and production-ready artwork.

What kinds of graphic design can you create?

Graphic Design can include logos and branding, business cards, flyers, mailers, signage, menus, price sheets, promotional pieces, web banners, social graphics, email graphics and other print or digital materials.

Can you fix a blurry logo or supplied artwork?

Yes. Artwork cleanup can include vector conversion, transparent backgrounds, resizing and correction of supplied artwork so it is more usable for its intended output.

Can you prepare artwork for professional printing?

Yes. Production-ready file preparation can account for the dimensions, bleed, color and output requirements needed by the job before the approved artwork is delivered.

Can you keep multiple pieces visually consistent?

Yes. Campaign consistency is part of the service. Related print and digital pieces can share the same visual direction so they feel like parts of one system rather than unrelated designs.

What file format will I receive?

The final format depends on how the artwork will actually be used. Approved files are prepared in the appropriate production or digital format for the job rather than forcing every project into the same output.

What if I only need one small design or artwork fix quickly?

Use Express Design for focused quick-turn jobs such as artwork cleanup, a flyer, a social graphic, an image correction or another smaller design request that does not need the full project process.

05 Support

Remote Desktop Assistance

Online troubleshooting, setup and guided help.

What can be fixed through Remote Desktop Assistance?

Remote support is suited to many Windows software errors, settings problems, software setup, browser and email issues, file organization and other problems that can be handled while the computer is online.

How does a remote session begin?

You first describe the problem and confirm that the computer can still get online. A remote session begins only after you approve the connection on your computer.

Can you connect to my computer without my approval?

No. The service is designed around an approved session. You authorize the connection on your computer, the issue is worked through, and the remote session ends when the job is complete.

Do I need an internet connection for remote help?

Yes, the computer generally needs to be online for a remote session. If the system cannot get online, has a hardware failure or needs a physical upgrade, Computer Repair is usually the better path.

Can you show me how to use software instead of just fixing an error?

Yes. Guided assistance can be used to walk through unfamiliar software or a specific task while you remain at your own computer.

Can Remote Assistance handle follow-up questions after another job?

Yes. Smaller follow-up questions after a repair, setup or website handoff can often be handled remotely when the issue does not require physical work.

06 Quick Turn

Express Design

Focused artwork jobs, uploads and rush-turnaround requests.

What is Express Design for?

Express Design is for smaller, focused jobs such as logo cleanup, vector conversion, transparent backgrounds, flyers, business cards, social graphics, invitations, signs, menus, image cleanup, background removal, product-photo improvements and business graphics.

How is Express Design different from regular Graphic Design?

Graphic Design is the better fit for a broader project or visual system. Express Design keeps the intake lean for focused artwork jobs that need a quicker review and production path.

Is same-day service guaranteed?

No. Same-day work is a requested turnaround, not an automatic guarantee. The supplied files, scope and current availability are reviewed first, and timing is confirmed before production begins.

Is the 2-hour rush option guaranteed?

No. Two-hour rush requires confirmation and is only available when the schedule and job scope allow it. Submit the request first so the job can be reviewed before you rely on that turnaround.

What files can I upload with an Express request?

The Express form accepts PDF, JPG/JPEG, PNG, SVG, AI, EPS, PSD, TIF/TIFF and ZIP files. You can upload up to five files, with a maximum of 20 MB per file and 50 MB combined.

What happens after I submit an Express job?

Your artwork, scope and requested turnaround are reviewed first. You receive the price and timing before production starts. After approval, the work is completed to the agreed scope and the finished files are delivered in the appropriate format.

Am I obligated to proceed just because I submit the Express form?

No. The Express intake is a request for review and pricing. The job is reviewed and the price and timing are confirmed before production begins.
